September 2014:
September is an excellent time to plant Daffodil bulbs, they need to be in and starting to grow roots as soon as possible to perform well in the spring. Other bulbs notably tulips can be planted later, even into November/December.
Autumn is an excellent time for planting most things. The soil is warm and more frequent rain will help roots establish rapidly ensuring a good start in the spring.
To help encourage you to get planting and make the most of the coming season we have some great offers for you:
All climbing plants buy one get one FREE
Own grown (SQUARE) pot perennials 2.50 (usually priced 5.00)
Whilst stocks last.

Why not come and enjoy our recently opened garden area? We have a beautiful established pond and tranquil sitting area. And in our garden room you can get a tea/coffee/chocolate - all relaxed, self service. During September we are trialling some locally made home-baked cakes as well. We look forward to seeing you soon :)
