A stunning tree-like Yucca native to Mexico and Southern Texas. Characterised by narrow steely blue-grey leaves which form a near spherical plume at the top of the trunk. Although the tops of the leaves are pointed, the leaves themselves are soft, so harmless compared with other Yuccas. The trunk is very slow to develop but can eventually reach 4m tall. Large, impressive panicles of fleshy, white flowers can be produced. Tolerant of wet and drought but must have well drained soil.
Extremely hardy down to -15 degrees
